Please pass around the following link. I would like to invite out-of-the-box thinking in response to the most formidable of human-driven global challenges.

"They go on in strange paradox, decided only to be undecided, resolved to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all-powerful to be impotent… Owing to past neglect, in the face of the plainest warnings, we have entered upon a period of danger. The era of procrastination, of half measures, of soothing and baffling expedience of delays, is coming to its close. In its place we are entering a period of consequences…. We cannot avoid this period, we are in it now…”
- Winston Churchill, November 12, 1936

Steve;

Sorry to threadjack, but there was an interesting conversation happening on this thread here...but you seemed to have abandoned it. I thought you added to the conversation, but the other posters are questioning the legitimacy of your comment.

I can't really fault them; you dropped in, made a post that on a first skim through appears like spam and on a second read through offends their political underpinnings, and then disappeared. I will have a harder time defending your ideas and comment without at least your coming back to engage them properly. It does seem like you're capable of adding more to the conversation, I think it would be fruitful if you did.
